Me...

Hey internet. I’m Jasmine, and I never know how to do these biography things accurately. It’s like trying to write an advertisement without really knowing what you want to sell, or who you want to sell it to… Tricky, eh?

I guess I’m one of these girls people have varying opinions about, though essentially I consider myself to be a rather nutty girly-girl. On the outside, I am very blonde, rather tall, and I probably wear too much makeup for my own good. Pretty things – especially clothes – make me extraordinarily happy, and while it does mean I am incredibly easily pleased, it also means I am incredibly skint. I love using endearments, because they just make everyone involved feel better about themselves. :]

Being a university student, I spend a lot of time acting like a child: I love nights spent in the sofa-tent watching Disney movies, and water fights are also amazing. My flatmates are my best friends, all of whom are equally as immature as me – I can’t ever imagine any other group of people being so accepting of such a vast array of weirdness… Between us, we get the giggles frequently, generally at unfortunate moments; for example, in silent lecture theatres. However, I take the crown for the highest amount of blonde moments, and also tend to make inappropriate comments regularly in far too loud a voice. I should really develop a stopping point between brain and mouth, as I can be a little hypocritical and tactless, but I’m optimistic that that adds to my lovability factor.

Another prominent aspect to my personality is the fact I love to flirt, even though I don’t realise I’m doing it half the time. This mostly happens when I am far too drunk for my own good, and end up dancing like a whore in various student-filled clubs around Bath. Pretty much anything goes when I’m fuelled with alcohol, and I am inclined to get more than a little lesbian... Attempting to piece the memories back together from embarrassing photographs always makes an interesting next morning.

However, my life is not all silliness: I am somewhat of a literary geek, and love reading and writing to the extent that I am now studying Creative Writing. I really enjoy learning, and will occasionally turn into one of those annoying nerds who will just not shut up until they get their point of view across; but that’s only when I get incredibly engrossed or passionate about the subject.

I don’t like it when people assume that I’m unintelligent because of the course I’m taking – I chose to follow my heart, no matter the lack of career prospects! I try my best at everything I put my mind to. That is, after I’ve finished procrastinating…

Like the majority of people, I have over a billion aspects to my personality, most of which conflict, but they do also add up to make me “me.” So if what I’ve written here hasn’t completely terrified you and made you run for the hills, you could end up liking me. Or, you could end up thinking I’m a complete twat, but we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it. :]
